Aug. 5th, 2024 10:01 pmI swear I've been following the Dong pattern to a T, constantly counting stitches, and yet I still have a sneaking suspicion that I've screwed up. I really wish there was a video tutorial or step-by-step guide with pictures out there. I am a little more optimistic now, though, because if I am off, it's only by a stitch or two on each side and I think I should be able to fudge it. Maybe. Dear God please do not make me have to frog it again
Spent most of the day drifting in and out of consciousness, with my legs being super weak each time I woke up. Hopefully whatever's going on passes by Friday, because I do not want to deal with a flare-up during the con.
Planning for Seattle has turned into a bit of a headache, which should not come as a surprise. I am trying to be patient because certain people in our group are especially busy and Going Through Shit, but it's tough to make cohesive plans when people are skipping over basic steps like "check the actual distance between X and Y on Google Maps" before deciding to combine certain destinations into one outing.
Still have not heard from my prof. I really hope I hear from him soon and that he's actually willing to meet. I mean, I'll be dying of embarrassment either way, but my chances of passing are higher if I can actually get some feedback from him...
